In 1907 and 1908, Jordan pursued a Masters Degree in Philosophy at Cornell University where he worked closely with James Edwin Creighton. Among the courses he took with Creighton were the two semester History of Philosophy in 1907-08, and Metaphysical Theory in the Fall of 1907.
